All age divisions practice at Parsons Field in Costa Mesa. The exact address can be found at

Park by the Waldorf School and walk through the small alley down to your right. Parsons Field will be right in front of you.

ARE YOU HOSTING SKILLS & DRILLS?

Yes! Free Skills & Drills clinics start October 19th and run through November 9th at Parsons field. Clinic times are 10:30am – 12:30pm. Please spread the word to your athlete’s teammates in other sports that they are currently playing for them to come try rugby! These clinics are a great way for new players to experience the sport - no previous experience necessary.

WHY ARE THERE TWO U8 TRACKS?

This season we have created an additional track for co-ed U8 flag players, the Ohana Rugby Series. We created this program because we know travel for sports can be a big barrier for families with athletes 8 years old and under.  he Ohana Rugby Series keeps things simple, affordable, and community-focused, while giving kids a safe introduction to rugby.

TRACK 1: Ohana Rugby Series - Local Play Only *New this Season*

• Ages

  • Boys and girls – 5 to 8 years old (as of September 1, 2025)

    • No experience necessary

    • Non-contact, flag

  1. Structure

     • 50 minutes of practice followed by one 30-minute match

     • One day of week (Tuesday or Thursday)

     • Team T-shirt and shorts will be provided

  2. Cost

     • Due to a generous sponsor, the first 50 local players rReside in the City of Costa Mesa and/or attend a Newport Mesa Unified School District school) who register will have their fees waived!

     • If your player does not qualify for the registration fee waiver, the registration fee to play in the Ohana Rugby Series is half of the traditional club registration fee amount ($125).

TRACK 2: Traditional U8 Flag Club Play - Local Play Only 

• Cost

  • $250 – which includes full kit (jersey, rugby shorts, and socks) in addition to the team T-shirt and shorts

  1. Additional Competitive matches

     • Matches are Saturdays from January 10, 2026 – February 28, 2026.

     • Home matches are at Parsons field.

     • Away matches. While the league makes every effort to schedule away matches relatively close in proximity us, matches can be played at various locations throughout Southern California. If transportation is an issue, we often have many parents who are willing to help get your to and from matches.

WHEN IS PRACTICE?

All leagues practice every Tuesday & Thursday:

U8 - Beginning December 2nd: 5:00pm - 6:30pm

U10 - Beginning November 11th: 5:00pm - 6:30pm

U12 - Beginning November 11th: 5:00pm - 7:00pm

U14 - Beginning November 18th: Time TBD

U16 & U18 - TBD

WHEN IS CLUB DAY?

On Sunday, November 16, we will be hosting our annual Club Day at Parsons field from 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM. Come meet your youth rugby community and celebrate the start of the Winter Younger’s season! 

WHEN DO MATCHES BEGIN?

The match schedule for Winter 2026 season will be released in December 2025. Check back here for the official schedule when the season begins. The Club is planning on participating in two preseason scrimmages on 12/13 and 1/3. We will be hosting a scrimmage at Parsons Field on Saturday, December 13.
